If your HP OfficeJet Pro 9130e printer is showing as “Offline” in Windows even though the printer is powered on and connected to the network, the issue is often caused by a broken Windows printer connection or communication error between the PC and printer

In many cases, the quickest fix is to remove the printer from Windows and re-add it.

Steps to Fix:

1. On the Windows computer, click the Start Menu and type:
Control Panel

2. Open Control Panel and select:
Devices and Printers
(or “View devices and printers”)

3. Locate the HP OfficeJet Pro 9130e printer.

4. Right-click the printer and choose:
Remove Device

5. Once removed, click:
Add a printer

6. Allow Windows to search for available printers.

7. Select the HP OfficeJet Pro 9130e from the list and complete setup.

8. After re-adding the printer, print a test page to confirm functionality.

Additional Notes:
- Make sure the printer is connected to the same WiFi network as the computer.

- Restarting both the printer and computer before re-adding can also help clear communication issues.

- If the printer still shows offline, verify the printer’s IP address and network connection through the HP printer display panel.
